That sucks, they should be deleting the parts from the online lists if that the case.
I would still give Port a call, they have been around a while.
 
I think in 97' that was the correct windshield, my dealer friend has a new 97' on the floor, it has your windshield on it. He had 2 of the windshields you are looking for in stock, I bought them both, one went on my triple and Boomer got the other. They are NLA, I have the one that was on my triple, it has a few scratches in it that would buff out, from a bad cover, give me your address I'll send it to you for that sled.

Nice score Daman. Always loved the look in those years. They looked fast just sitting still.

On the OBO deal. Nice to see that a guy was willing to budge. Seems like here any add put in the paper with OBO they never budge. I just sold 2 sleds with a OBO price and I took less then what was advertised. I phoned a guy with a cover for my sled. He wanted $100 OBO. I offered $85 and he said $100 firm. Go figure. I hate dealing with people like that. He must like people calling him, needs friends I guess.

$2000 is a steal. Here in Canada probably would of got close to $4000. Yammie's hold a good price here. Seen a 97 vmax 700 go for $3700 CDN last year. Lots of miles on it to and not mint. I got my steal last year. 2002 sxr600 for $3500 cdn delivered, local dealer wanted $4700 plus 11% tax..

Hope to get riding soon.

^Hmmm... can't be, if you look in the '97 brocher it tells about the big max and has a pic of it clearly showing the low black windy,plus i've seen befor like on
e-bay or somthing and origanal stocker and it has the low black windy on all
that i've seen..

what is NLA? the maker, so it's not OEM yammie?

That look's better.......

Called the the guy i bought her from a few days ago and asked if he or the
original owner still had the original windy,he said he'd check,called me back
and said yes he's got 'er and he'd ship it out ASAP,came in yesterday and
i put it on, sure looks mean/better now with the right windy on,
now she's complete ;)!

Ahhhhhh..no

took 'er for a little rip today and damn this thing is impressive,fricken 80-85
on the dream 'o meter in no time!!, and she wasn't even working up a sweat, lol
 
Find yourself a nice set of PSI quad stockblasters to bolt on!!! you will be amazed what the sled will do.

YEAH BABY!!!
