Yeh no worries, I'm taken advantage of this opportunity.

My buddy put a M12 on his 94 vmax 600 and I was was impressed by the look and the stance. I got to jump on it a couple of time and it felt good standing still. 8.6 miles after we unloaded it from the trailer the dummy rode it wide open (-30) till it blew up and I never got to ride it. Rookies!!!!!

I went to all black wheels and 8in in the rear. I haven't been able to make a full run yet, but it runs to 110 easily. Everything I have read is that you will not lose if you go to 8in in the rear and run the track loose.

Just thought that you may like some of my photos...cheers

Blues that looks very sharp. also the front shock on mine was at 1/4 inch preload. I appoligize for not getting back to you before now.

I called fast & they said, cause I used rear upper mount hole "D" & that changed a few basic starting points...the front pre load on mine is 1/2" & straps are at 3/3...I'm 275lbs..I haven't taken it out since I readjusted things, I am trying to gather as much info & then go out & try alot of different setups & see what works for me...this is my first M-10 & looking forward to the ride...how does your wife like hers...cheers

She hasnt tried it yet probally this weekend. I tried it and like it but can see I'll need to play around with it a little as it is a bit tippy now but I havent tried anything yet. As with you this is my first M-10 also. let me know what works for you and I'll do the same. enjoy..

ride was okay i wouldnt say all that much better if any than a stock pro action rear but the weight transfer was terrible nothing we did would make the sled hookup with that skid in it with the stock srx skid and bender transfer rods the sled would pull the skis and a do a radar run at the ice drags at 103 mph after i put the m-10 in the sled would spin the track like mad and wouldnt go faster than 92 mph in the ice drags as far as reliability i couldnt tell you about that as i didnt keep the skid in there long enough 2find out. i had 4 other buddys who all had the same problems with there m- 10s
fast was of no help with trying 2 sort that skid out either as everything they said 2 try didnt work either
i understand the prob here m-10s are good in powder and rought stuff not ice

Just thought i would post pictures of my SRX with my M10 in it. It came with the original pink and purple M10 in it, and the first winter there were a few minor things that broke so i decided to pull the skid and blast it and rebuild it. Here is a pic of when i first got the sled, and what it looks like as of last winter....new cowl also.

I love the M10 ride, i really never noticed how incredible the ride was until i went back and rode my dads 01 sxr and his 03 viper. the M10 is outstanding compared to a stock sxr and a stock viper. I can ride alot faster and alot further with this suspension.

Hope your wife likes the new ride, im sure she will.

Looks awesome you guys.

So to follow up on the free M-10 my buddy said he would give me. Well I called him today, left a voice mail asking when I could pick up the skid....He called back and left me a voice mail..."riding was great this weekend, love the new sled, I'll talk to you later" HMMMMMM? now I'm wondering. At the time he offered the m-10 to me he had a few cocktails, but was not wasted by any means. Now I'm starting to think he's second guessing the offer, I dunno. I will offer him some money, but he said to me like 10 times that night, DUDE! YOU CAN HAVE IT!, I want you to have it, cuz I have no use for it anymore and I'm too lazy to sell it. What do you guys think?

Offer him a fair rice for it if you really want it. I wouldn't get mad about it though.

I hear ya, and I'm prepared to give him some money and I'm far from angry about it, that's for sure. So what's a fair price? 2002 model with Ohlins shocks with the auto adjust. It was $2,000 new I think. It's in good shape, but needs a new rail (bent). It has around 4K miles on it.

I apologize, if I'm hyjacking the thread, not my intention. Just looking to get an M-10 under me too!

I've had my M10 installed for about 5 years now. Completely rebuilt and stretched to 151" this fall. It was either a new suspension or new sled. The weight transfer is great, especially with the 2" finger track. It is the best thing I did to my SRX.

Before with the 136" and after with the 151"

offer him $800 for it. Rails are about 400 bucks though. That's assuming his mount kit will work in your sled.

i love my m-10 i go about 310 lbs. and after last year i ended up getting my shocks rebuilt and a beefier spring put on it. i read that it takes about 25- 200 miles to break the spring in then you start adjusting from there. right now i have the front strap at 4-4 and i am staring the fra at 4 i believe it was suggested at 3.5-4 figure i'll beat it up quick and try to break the new spring in!
