Off Brand Question

My father in law has a 1979 Ski-Doo Elite with the 444 L/C Rotax. I was wondering if any of you guys know any thing about the cluches in those?? And if so , where a guy can get parts (springs) for the secondary. How late in to the 1980's did ski-doo use that type of secondary?? any info would be GREAT
 
eep! my buddy was running one of those 4 years ago. he knows that bugger inside out. doen't have internet though. i will ask but if someone else in here chimes in 1st that would be better.
 
That was actually a race in WI, but to answer your question yes, A very good friend of mine Jimmy Quick runs the stud club along with the help of us northern MN guys
