Hey guys I am restoring a SR 433B and I will need help to find different parts for it like carbs, seat and tank and skis. What do you think this sled will be worth in original running condition ?

I believe the carbs are 828r. I think i may have one or two. The seat would be a problem. You could use a seat and tank from a 74-75 GP and be real close to original. Alum skis show up on ebay once in a while.
Value is always what some one would pay or what you would sell for.
I like them,so i'd pay a good buck for one.

I will get some pictures as soon as the frame comes back from the weld shop
It needed a few brackets to be welded back to hold the seat and one for the pipes. Otherwise the frame is very straight.

I had a set of 433r cylinders and a set pipes that I sold off this summer. Was going to make a 72' clone, but my race budget just wont allow for another project. cylinders were in need of sleeves and the pipes were nice.

Hey Monty I am the guy who bought these 433r cyls. I had them rebored to .020 over and they are ok. Since that time I got 3 SRs to restore.
A 71 433, a 72 433b, and a 72 643. What do you think I will do this winter ??...

Thoes cylinders were found on a old snowjet with a frozen motor. Just a typical y433 fan motor - but had to destroy the bottom end to save the cylinders.

Yes this chassis is all aluminium and the # on the back is SR433 01126
The chain case is the same as the one found on a GP 643.
I did not get any answer from Leon yet.

In 74 or 75, I don't remember which anymore, my friends mint 71 SS 433 was hit by a car. We ordered a new chassis from Yamaha and I got the brainwave to get an SR chassis. It came no problem and we switched everything over including a brand new seat. He rode it a little, then left town for awhile. Next I saw him, I inquired about the sled and he told me that he sold it! I have wondered about the where abouts of the sled ever since and kicked myself in the *** for letting it slip through my fingers! G.
