I'm getting a steady clicking that seems to be coming from my track or at least it varies with the speed of the track. I can't see anyplace that the track is catching and I've made sure there is no ice etc. Is there a bearing or something else that goes on these that would make that sound, it feels like it's on the left side.

did you put new sliders on?

No, I just bought the sled, it has 1800 miles on it and seems to be stock. I don't know what, if anything, has been replaced.

I had this on my 98 500 V-Max and it was a flat spot on the drive belt. Swap it out with a good one to rule the belt out.

Thanks, will try a new belt tomorrow.

Did you ever figure out what the trouble was?

I had trouble like that at one time on my mm700 I was running the track too loose and it was flapping up and down and hitting the tunnel
things that i have found
fuel pump bracket catching stud
studd not tightend down enough inside the track and clicks on rear sissor
new slides not having the front or back tappered down
screw for slides losend up and catching clips
link hanging out of chain
bad belt
track clips bent
heat exchanger guards loose
stud partially tore out but only enough to touch, not enough to tear the heat exchanger.
anyone got any others?
