What are good triple pipes for the sxr!!

What got my belt guard? Well, I was chasing the elusive deep snow bog. Went through the air box, steam, exhaust, plug caps route and solved some of it by paying attention to detail on those items. Figured out that the clutches were not back shifting the way they were supposed to because they were getting too hot so I ventilated the belt guard to try to let the heat out. I had a spare belt guard so decided to sacrifice one in the name of research. Suprising that this hole punched belt guard worked really well, until I hit fresh powder. Spray ended up getting on the primary. Used duct tape to cover the some of the holes to find a combination of holes and no holes that kept the secondary cooler and the primary dry. Turned out to be about half way. I always planned to cut holes over the driven in the other guard I had but ended up using the one in the photo with duct tape. In the spring, it worked great without tape. All my riding is at slow speed, near/full throttle riding so I get no cooling from speed related air flow. Heating and bogging issues can become so serious they have to be solved.

my son has the same SLP's as those shown on the first page. My SXr (now my son's SXR) has had PI end dumps and now SLP's and he runs against other 700 redheads with Benders. The SLP's are quite a bit louder than the Benders, but they sound great and triples really wake the sled up. the PI's are getting a little harder to find and the PI's are damn loud. It's your call. good luck

I think i am gonna go with SLP... They are cheaper then most and gives 25 hp.. so

Here's the site with dyno results. According to them the SLP give you 131 for a gain of 19. But if I remember correctly their dyno results show that the SLP's do give you the biggest gain.

Like I said before, I still don't see any results of the 700 with Hauck pipes!!! The way I see it... If Hauck pipes were good enough for Team Yamaha to use in snocross over any other pipe for 4 seasons, then that's good enough of a reason for me to use them over any other pipe. Just my 2 cents anyway.

I got a set of Benders in my garage. I bought the haucks and benders at the same time, I ran the benders 1 season and decided to try the haucks and stayed with them.

I thought about selling them but haven't gotten around to posting them up because I did not want to mess with shipping etc.

Let me know if you are interested

I Did Not Even Realize You Could Get Triples For The Sxr. Wjere Can I Get Some Of Them.

was out with the Aaen tripples on my SXR with a new clutch set up. The Aaen are quiet and really rip hard. I like them because they are quiet.

power inc on a stock motor work great. bender & psi are also very good. flip a coin.

I was pulled over by the trail police today and they did not question the pipes. The are more quiet then any cans I have heard.

I have slp pipes on my 97 700, the power really increased over stock all the way through the power band, there
not much louder than stock, but, I have the quieter silencer that came with the newer style one's, I think they all make good power, It's all in what you run for clutching, gearing, suspension setup, etc.

Did your fuel consumption go up much with the slp's?I hear some pipes improve mileage and it seems most make it much worse, just curious.

I can't tell you that, I never check mileage on sled's, I used about 3-3 1/2 gallons in 65 miles of ditch riding, hill climbing and buddy racing, Sorry, R.J. P.S. spartasxr: I didn't know you could buy slp's for a 06 attak!!
