My 600 doesn't want to keep running after finally bringing it out of storage. Everything was fine in the spring when putting it away. It will start with the choke, shut choke off, then it will run for a few revs of the throttle and die at idle. Sometimes it will go for a minute or two reving with the throttle, seems like it's ok, then backfire and die out. Will always restart. Fuel is moving through the filter.

did anyone mention that you may want to clean your carbs......lol
I never leave gas in my sleds while in storage. the jets and passages in these carbs are way to small and get dirty real easy with todays gas.

took the sx700 out a few weeks ago, had a little snow here then,,,anyways started fine, idles good, revs up no hesitation but after a long high rev, buuuroooops to a low idle where i have to let it clear itself out (maybe 10 to 20 seconds) then is fine. any ideas? tia

Same. Clean carbs! My wifes 99 Vmax 500 would do the same about part way through the season. The stock air filter is not real good, allows mall dirt particles to pass with snow dust. clean the carbs and you will be fine! Buy a prefilter and that will help.
