"250 miles today pics"

I saw your group on the white pine saturday afternoon. We were heading north from Big Rapids and you guys were heading south your sled looks amazing going down the trail. Those rail road grades were great usually there tore up and down to the pavement that was the first time in a long time we put a lot of miles in on them
 
sxviper thanks i remember seeing you. you are right that day the trail was great. it has been 4 years since i have done the whole trail.
 
you can really cover some ground on that rail bed. I have been on it but it's been years. I find it kind of boring to just hold the throttle to the bar for miles and miles. You guys ever ride out of Newaygo? Newaygo to Cadillac is a very solid day with alot more "trail" then that rail bed. Anyone interested in riding out of the Newaygo trailhead?
 
We use to ride the white pine all the time ... it does get a little boring, but if you can take off right when we get snow you can put down a lot of miles. We use to ride from Sparta to Irons and back. We have went up on that trail before and had great snow on the way up, but no snow on the way back down after the sun hits that trail all day!

My parents hit the trail on New Years day and said it was great ...

and it will only get worse. cold as hell yesterday and today, but then 40's and rain all weekend through tuesday. it might get down to freezing at night a couple days in there..

yup, for my area there calling for 47-50deg and maybe rain starting
sun. into next week, so were #$%&* again here!!!!!!
