ANYone w/M10 susp in SXR700

Anyone running a m10 suspension in there SXR700. I was wondering if it would give you any better advantage for hooking up. I sure the sure the ride might be better. I have a problem of hooking up and I thought the 1.25 track w/ 144 studs up the center would have done a better job.

Any thoughts about this would be great.
 
I have run a m-10 for thousands of miles with great comfort and control in my sx-r.It does'nt transfer very well, but would still be ok with that track and 144 studs.Fully coupled skids don't transfer very well, but when setup right it'll be good, what you gain overall far outweighs the reduction in transfer.I just extended mine to 136" with a ripsaw and now the hookup is awsomeThis would be the ultimate setup for you or if your main complaint is just the traction do that track and studs and get some adjustable transfer rods and you'd be good to go.

I have the transfer rods, It kinda sucks giving up the ride for traction, but my sled its stock so I have more HP to the ground than normal. I just might have to go to a 136. How much is the 136 kit and how much is envolved in it. What size lug do you run on the 136 and do you run studs too

I just came back from a weekend ride up by fredric and miss I could have got to hook up alittle better

What kind of MPH do you get out of the 136 track.

You can get rail extensions and a 136" track for $500 or so and a tunnel extension kit for 200-300 new or ffind used stuff.Its pretty much all bolt in stuff and some riveting for the tunnel extension, be patient and it will go fine.If you did'nt like the rail extension idea you could just find a 136" skidframe, either way.Tracks Usa sells great rail extensions or you could also get all your stuff from Rich motorsports who is a supporter of this site.I run 1.25" lug ripsaw for my last couple tracks, no studs.I used to always run studs until this track came along, I think its great as is.I have not topped out my sled with this new setup, but I believe its just as fast as with the short track or very close anyways.I geared down one tooth on the top with a shorter chain also.Gas mileage is better too, that was a bit of a surprise.I live near Frederic and gassed up my sled at the B&B there yesterday afternoon, it was busy there!Lastly if you want an m-10 there pricey between 1200-1500 new unless you could find a good used one.If you went this route you'd probably have to stretch a 121" out to 136" with rail extensions which is what I did to mine and its great and very rugged so far.
