Installed Heel Clickers this year per the owners directions in a stock 03 Viper. (Gray spring , stock secondary, 3.3 shoulder, 4.3 tip weight). The shift was only 8200 rpms. Called Super torquer and was told to subtract 1gm. from tip and add .5gm to the shoulder. Now the sled revs up to 8750 then drops to about 8400. The question is why does it over rev and then drop? I am going to go to the setup I have seen on TY (red spring and dual rate helix) but until I get it setup what am I doing wrong?

finish angle on helix is too steep its overshifting, then trying to recover, this is why is drops rpm, theres a write up in the tech FAQ o this.
