We just got back from a week in West Yellowstone. HUGE amounts of snow, both on the groomed trails and in the powder. The Powderhounds made a huge difference on my Apex and my son's Viper. Night and day over Yamaha stock skis. Excellent flotation in deep powder, the improvement was very noticeable on both sleds. Negligible darting. I'd use 6 inches of carbide on snowy trails or if transfer is set to minimal, I'd use 4 inches for hardpack or if the sled transfers a lot.
