1975 GPX 433 questions - pic's added

Just went and looked at a 81 SRX to buy. The guy had a 1975 GPX 433 sitting there also. Ended up bringing home the gpx instead. Just love the older style sleds. Still thinking about the 81 SRX but don't know if I want all the problems that follow. Question is on the GPX one of the carbs needs a rebuild. I believe the seat leaks gas and is shot. Not sure though.They have some kind of sight window and it seems to be overflowing with gas. Would it be better to just replace carbs with roundslide 38mm. If so where would be a good starting point with the jet sizes. Any carb help would be appreciated. I will take some pics of the sled and post latter.

There should be black caps on the sight tube,if there gone it will spill gas,the tube is so you can set your fuel level.I hate these carbs and have a bag full of them in the garage.Go to a set of 38 mm mik's.i'm glad i did.Right now i'm at a 400 main jet,30 pilot jet,testing thurs nite,probably a little fat but i live in a cold weather area in Northern Wi

GREAT POINT, GPX,s WERE VERY STRONG FREE AIR MOTORS. COLDER IT USUALLY WAS, THE MORE HP THEY MADE. KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN YA SET THIS UP.3:16 (yammie tony)
