My friend has a 1989 enticer 340. It works fine for an hour or so and then it fouls the plugs. When he changes the plugs the sled works fine again for another short while. Anyone have this problem before, What maybe the cause. Thanks for the help.

how much oil is it using say in 5 gallons of gas. fill the oil and gas up. run it for a while then fill up the gas again see how much gas u used and then do the same for the oil. use a measuring cup. u want aroudn 4-5 oz/gallon if ur using more like 8 oz per gallon then ur oil pump is bad and pumping too much oil. another way is does it smoke alot? best way is buy checkin the oil/gas ratio. also check the oil pump cable make sure it didnt pop apart at the adjuster that will make it pump alot more.

He premixes his oil and gas at 50:1 Ratio. He dont use the oil injecter

is he running the right heat range plug? a plug that is too cold wont last as long.

He is running BR8ES NGK, I think that is what the sled calls for.
