How do you get the throttle block apart??

How do you get the throttle block apart on a viper? Want to put in on a firecat bars. Needs to slide over the hooked end.

How are you suppose to get a viper throttle block on a hooked bar? Are the mt viper ones different? I know people have done it. I know boomer did it.

I found what I need to know. I guess I am going to have to cut the hook off and re-weld it back on or get a bolt on hook. That sucks to have to cut a brand new set of firecat bars. DOH!
