Funny.. I like the no bears sign!
We own a husky! Doesn't that count for anything? LOL
I'm still waiting for my husband to bring me to Alaska for a honeymoon he promised me a while back. Maybe we should be planning California!
Canada! LOL

MtnMax600 said:Well this has been quite the series of storms. I cant say this is normal but we get lots of snow out here...definitaly not a freak thing. 2-3 foot storms are pretty regular. What...do you all think californians are beach bums?? My 151 is practically a short track right now.
horkn - Nice, I went to Chico myself. The foothills around chico right now are all sledable. Never rode around there, but there are lots of trails up above paradise and towards Lake Almanor.
Yeah, I showed my GF your pics.
She said she has camped up in that area a few times.
I swear, if there were more jobs in that area of the state, Both of us would move BACK to Cali.... She grew up in saratoga CA, and her parents have a place in Tahoe, so she has gone through that area a bit.
me, I was an Orange Cty boy, so I lose some street cred

WOW, I grew up in Saratoga also, small world! Whats her name? What high school did she go to?
I wish I could live IN the mountains, but like you said there are just no good jobs in tahoe. Sacramento isnt TOO far from the mountains but it would be nice to ride out of my garage instead of towing 1.5-2 hours to sled.

Yeah, small world huh?
Her name is Danielle Pinn
She is the only daughter in the Pinn Family (big home builders). She went to saratoga HS, iirc. Is there more tha 1 HS? She graduated from HS around 1987.
Sacto is not too bad, for us the 1.5-2 hours would be like driving up to our cottage, but half as much drive time -3 hrs for us . LOL
What's your last name? she may recognize the name.

Doesnt sound familiar, tho shes 10 years ahead of me so its not a surprise, I grad. in 97. There is only one HS but some people in saratoga, depending on which side of town, went to lynbrook (where I went), which was in san jose. Last name is Yoder.
