can a 1.25" ripsaw be studed on 01 srx?

I have replaced the stock yamie track for a 1.25 ripsaw. What size of stud? and any mod suggestions. The 2 front rad protector bars have been removed already.

I have heard no studs if you go with a 1.25 track.

The purpose of the radiator(heat exchanger) protectors, is to protect it from stud damage. Never run studs without them!
Also, most people will tell you , you have to change your front drivers to 8 tooth instead of the 9 tooth that is stock on the sled. This allows you enough room to put the protectors back in with a 1 1/4" track.

I have 1 1/4 predator track studded on my 2000 srx, stock nine tooth drive. Bought the sled used with the track on it. Had to cut 1/4 inch slots in the lugs so that they would not rub on the protectors. Works fine now. More snow please.
