off idle bog on 92 Phazer II

Hey guys I finally got my phazer out for its second run yesterday and I have a bog on the bottom end. If I give it some throttle it bogs until about close to half throttle and then it rips pretty good.
I have pulled the plugs wires off and it seems the sled is only running on one cylinder on the bottom end. I can pull the plug wire off the clutch side plug and the idle doesn't change, but if I pull the fan side plug wire it stalls.
I have checked both plugs and they are both a nice tan colour. I also have cleaned the carbs twice just to make sure its not the carbs.
Could it be something electrical? Where should I check now?

Do I need a tool to do this?

I see in the Royal Distributing cat. that there is a tool to do this. Do I need this or can I just tune it myself?

Did you seperate the carbs or change the synchronizing screw on the shaft?
Normally it would not have changed if you did not.

Have you adjusted the idle adjustment screws? They will normally have to be set overly rich at idle to prevent an off idle bog. Continue to turn them out slightly each time until it does not bog.
An intake air leak?
There is a very small hole at the bottom of the mouth of the carb that will cause a bog if it is plugged.
 
Ok I didn't seperate the carbs. I wasn't sure what to adjust on the carb. I am not even sure where the idle adjustment screws are. Are they at the top of the carb?

How's your clutch(primary)working right?

when you cleaned the carbs did you do it right,pull all jets cleaned with carb cleaner then blow out with shop air,when held up to a light can see through it??

also all passages in carb blew out? floats checked and adj.??

Yes, the adjustment screws are on top - they have springs on them.
A drive belt that is worn thin can also contribute to a bog.
 
The clutch seems to be working right, I just had it totally rebuilt.

When I cleaned the carb I didn't pull out the jets I did spray them with carb cleaner and used shop air.

I will pull the carbs off again today and take all the jets right out and make sure I don't miss anything.
 
turn the screws on top of carbs in,then turn them out 3/4 to 1 turn out thats where my phazer runs the best
 
I think I got her!

Ok guys thanks for the help but I think I got her! I cleaned the carbs again and really took my time on them. I even got some carb cleaner on my new windshield DAMN!

I took it for a rip and it seemed to be working spot on.

I have to fix my pull cord again and I will take it for a longer ride.
