I'll b having a look at carbs again but what would cause the overflow? sticking float .... plugged jet?

the floats must be stuck letting it flood with fuel. I'd recean them and try again. Paul

all the floats seem to be fine, cleaned up the jets and put it back together and its running fine again.
I noticed that the big plastic washer on the main jet(center carb) was unusually loose to the point where it slid up and down and slides off the jet very easily. I've ordered a new washer but was wondering if this could have caused the flooding if it slid up and interfered with the float?
thanks for the help
