98 srx fouling plugs

thats what im thinking, sled is my buddys, i have it here, he bought it off a dealer that could not find the problem, justt checked the cable now its alright, and it was adjusted at 21.5 so its ok, checked for the choke, the cable was pulling on the choke a little because it was loose in the bracket, but not mutch, it had about 1/16 before toutching the stopper on the bracket, i dont even think thats enough to actually pull on the choke. i just started it and let it run 15 mins, runs on 3 didnt foul a plug either, but runs damm ritch, always smoking, will go and try it in the field next to my house later. Im also thinking oil pump failure as i have read they will pump too mutch when they fail? The sled only has 6000mile on it, so i find it weird.
 

jsut did a test engine running idle, pulled on the oil pump cable and it does add oil because the smoke was way worse, so i dont think the problem is there. If its not too mutch oil, its too damm ritch then because its smoking and my buddy says it was burning his eyes (i guess im too used to tuning racecars on methanol and dont feel it anymore haha) pipes are wet at every joint even at the muffler joints.
 
you still never answered the question, when you ride it down the field what rpm does it go to before fouling the plugs? whats the max rpm of the engine?
 
hehe i never answered the q don because i asked and my buddy could not give me a straight answer, the sled is in my garage now and i will got try it later when my wife comes back. But its running too ritch idling thats for sure, its smoking hard and smells like shit lol
 
They do smoke like hell upon cold start up but then calm down when rid'en

well went and rode it for 5-6miles and it ran perfect loool, only thing i did was readjust the choke! it was open a little bit. My buddy changed the plug wires but also the choke cable at the same time, im pretty confident the main problem was the common plug wires, but he didnt adust the choke properly it was always a little open. ill ride it some more in the next few days to see if the problem comes back!
