Feedback on ZX2 in SRX

Thanks Zach... I'll do the same on mine when I put the skid in.

Holding snow - There are quite a few guys on the 4 stroke side with the ZX2, and they are saying that it's amazing how little snow the skid holds. That will be a nice change. My M-10 held a lot.

.....I cranked them up alot. Maybe 80% of the thread length. With no load, you must be nose diving. Jeff at AD Boivin told me to crank them to the point that there was no sag when you lift the front end up and let go.....

Boy it seems like that would be really harsh - my front end is a bit harsh now with the stock shocks set at medium pre load - I have some adjustable shock mounts on my 02 from Hauck that always worked good - I think I'll try them with the skid at 5 and maybe go with some long travel shocks - the shocks on my 02 were done by Maxximum Performance when they were still around - anyone know where to get some done now?? :dunno:

Pioneer Performance! Bruce is amazing at setting those up for what you are running and how you ride!

Ditto on Pioneer. I had my front viper shocks re-valved just a few weeks back. It was night and day difference.

B-Magee - I'll keep ya posted. It looks like I will be putting it in this Sunday. I'll take some pics and post too. I'm interested to see how it will look with the rest of my sled being black.

Hmm..I've found that my m10 holds way less snow than my Ohlins long travel skid did. Fewer parts on the m10 for the wet snow to cling to and a way more open design to keep it from collecting and being held in...

As weight tranfer on the m10...I've found with the current setup with the m10, weight transfer is better than the what I had before. Getting less track spin now, with just the right amount of ski lift.

Maybe mountain riding result are different than the trail, river and ditch banging I do with the m10? :dunno:
