Tunnel protector removal

I removed the tunnel protectors from my 02 Viper. I was wondering what others have done with the holes from the rivets thru the tunnel? Would silicone be enough to plug the holes and hold? Thank you, XC

How about new rivets? or a small bolt and nut?

I didn't do anything when I removed mine.

I thought about not doing anything but I want to try to keep as much snow out as possible due to it being right under the seat and all.

Another vote for "I didn't do anything"

I have not seen anything negative about this yet. Maybe someone else knows something I do not. If there is a proven negative I would sure like to know also.
