97 XTC 600 factory jetting

Can someone please tell me what temp these are jetted for from the factory? I need to know FOR SURE if anyone knows. My friend would like to jet it down one size from stock (it has 151.3 mains and 45 pilots in it, still stock) but the books chart is hard to read. He thinks it says it's jetted for 10F-30F from the factory. Wouldn't it be jetted down to at least 0F from the factory?

my 98 is stock yet and that's the same jetting, altitude 0-300 ft is good
for +20,+40degf

or 500-3300ft is -40 to -20

is what i'm showing for 151.3 clip 2
 
We are about 1350 feet for elevation. There's no way he needs it jetted to -40°F. -10° is the coldest this thing will ever see. I've got the carbs apart right now they had the fuel screws out 1 1/8th and 1 1/4. He's been having problems with it not wanting to idle down. It's been -10°F to 15°F. Now I know why. I wonder how low with the jets would be safe to go for -10°F?

Something I just noticed too is this service manual (LIT-12618-SM-00) says for a 600 the pilot mixture screws should be 1 1/2 turns out?

The 500 says 1 3/4 but the 600/700 are one and a half according to this.

My XTC book says 1 3/4 out....

so if your @ 1300ish feet you could use 330 to 1600ft settings..

witch are...

mj-152.5 clip-2 for -10 to +10

or 151.3 clip-2 for +10 to +30
 
I wonder if they revised it to 1 1/2 or something because this manual is like 1 1/2" thick and it says it's a supplementary service manual. Who knows.
 
Ya know on that particular piece of info i was looking at the wrong column, yes it should be 1 1/2(600cc), sorry bout dat...the rest still stands.
 
These carbs were trashed. Somehow belt dust is getting in them and plugging the air jets. The switch on them for the TORS was junk so I replaced that (I unhooked that as soon as he bought it 2 years ago). The screw that you loosen to sync them was loose so that slide wouldn't start moving up until the other one had already raised up about an eighth of an inch. The floats weren't set right either, I don't know how much of a difference it makes but they had one side of each float about right but then the other side was way too low, they were crooked. They're like new now.
 
I ran 150 mains in my 98 600 at -25degrees.
The sled ran alot better going from 151.3 to 150 mains.I have done this to several sleds.
