mountain max 700shuts off when you step on the clutch side running board!!

is there anything in particular i should be looking for? probably just a short somewhere in the wiring but i was wondering if this was a more common problem.

might be the ground for the rectifiers and stuff it is mounted on that side if memory serves me right. Maxdlx
