Anyone run Bergstrom wear rods?

They are in my opinion, the longest wearing rods you can use. As far as the wait, Scott had a whole batch ( $10,000) of carbide stolen in December. He is crawling out of that hole right now. I was at his shop 3 weeks ago and he was cutting up NEW old stock to fill as many orders as he could. I'll call him tomorrow and report back on timeline for delivery!!

Someone needs their hands/arms cut off then they need thrown in a lake to drown. Scumbags.

bergstroms are good thats all i ever use. Scott is a good guy and he did just have some carbide stolen in process of being shipped to him. i went and got new ones from him in december also and that had just happened.

I've used Scott's products on my last sled. When I need new skegs on the new sled I'll use them again. Scott was great to talk me through what I needed according to my sled, driving style and typical conditions.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Just left Scott's shop and he has reduced his backlog from 3 weeks to 2 weeks. He and his one employee are working 18 hr days to get caught up. Just to give you an idea of his character, when he finally got his carbide stock replaced, he DROVE the whole load to Pennsylvania to get it heat treated. Left on Sunday afternoon, got there Monday am and had it treated. 2 1/2 hrs. after getting there, he turns around and drives back home with his heat treated product. I personally think he is NUTS!! BUT, that is the way he is. So if you ordered, please be patient. He's doing everything he can to fill orders

Hands down the longest wearing bars in my opinion. Also a great guy to deal with...one of the few honest dealers out there anymore.

I agree with everything that has been said and his products are all that I have ran for years.I received my last pair of new runners, just before he was robbed so I was lucky. If you can swing it try the triple point carbides, they will run you 150 or so, but they are worth it for longevity and the turning performance is amazing!

Don't forget, if you are a TY member, he gives you a discount. Hope evveryone gets a chance to try the Triplepoints. I have been running them since he introduced them. Had a pair that I ran on my Viper, gave those ski's to my riding partner that had a Venture. I now own that Venture and changed them out last year. 9,000 miled and the carbide was still completely intact. Yes, it was FLAT, but it was all there. He almost cuts his own throat you know. Buy 1 set and run them 2-3 seasons, compared to 1 set every season.

ive been trying to get ahold of him for two days, no answer. hope he didnt work himself to death, someone should go check on him, maybe he has fallen and cant get up.

NOPE!!! Just saw him this morning. He is not answerung the phone cause he gets caught up yakkin lol. Leave him a message or email. I will see him Monday. If you want to, PM me and I will relay the message.

Also on the Dec. order list for the triple pts. Lasted talked him about 3 weeks ago after he sent me the ski savers, shims and a new product to try out. Can't wait to use the carbides, buddy of mine run the 10" on his warrior and he is very impressed, says berstoms are all he will use!
