Setup according to what Pat recommended, it runs like a champ. Believe you me, this thing is powerful. I think tomorrow is going to be a good day for testing as it's supposed to be around zero out so I thibk I'll try to dial 'er in.



Now I haven't rode this yet, (because I'm spending way to much time on the little details) but I'm thinking the 760 is going to give her a run for the money. From what I understand though, a Vmax-4 setup correctly is a sled to be respected even to this day. New ISR World Speed Record on Vmax-4! I love the way the 760 sounds. I think the Vmax-4 is going to be even better. I can't wait!!!

Also, Fleetman, I put an Xtra-10 in the SRX, could about flip the thing over if I set it up that way, weight transfer and ride quality is AWESOME. Best thing I have ever done to ANY of my sleds.

Goody, I'm just going to leave the suspension in this for now. I hear ya on the Xtra10 though. It seems to be setup real close to my preferences. It setup for a woman and seems to ride and transfer real well. It was too cold out this weekend to do anymore testing. I only have 10 miles tops on it since the Pat Hauck recommended setup.

Here it is by the way. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

152.5 mains across the board
Q8 nozzle pto/Q4 center and mag
pto needle 4th down 1 washer above/one below
center/mag needle 3rd down 2 washers under
50 pilots
air/fuel screws out one

YSY primary spring
8CA (now) or 8CH, with 4.5 g inner (now) and 2.44 outter if nec
Shim as nec to a 4,200-4,400 engagement rpm

Silver secondary wrapped @ 70 and adj from there
Had a Magnum roller
Had a 51-43 helix
Max rpms 8,300-8,400

From the few minutes I've had on it with this setup I think she is gonna rock!!

i second the suspesion swap. just got my edge skid installed and it hooks up harder than i ever though possible! fleet man- how did get that thing so clean under the hood?(expecialy the jugs)
