I have a 01sxr700 as my handle implies and have put a 144" track with clutching by TURK. That is Advantage edge 50/44 helix, new green spring, stock weights with 4.5 gram rivets in the inner and outer holes with the WWW spring. Last year it ran fine, this year when I go to take off the belt just gets pulled down into the secondary. It works not bad when it's cold but as soon as the clutches get a little warm I can hardly move the sled. Have a new belt on .
Anybody got any suggestions?

Thanks

Check your spring wrap on your secondary or you secondary spring for breakage. I'm guessing that with that helix and spring the wrap should be between 60-80 degrees

i would deglaze the belt and sand out the secondary clutch facings with some 220 grit , you are getting slippage. Its either that or the spring is the culprit.
