CAN YOU FIELD TEST THIS SLED. IF SO, MAKE A HARD RUN, WHEN YOU GET TO POINT WHERE SHE IS STARTING TO NOSE OVER. HIT KILL SWITCH AND LET IT COAST TO A STOP. PULL PLUGS OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AT THEM AND YOUR WASH. HOW CAN IT BE CLUTCHING WHEN YOU AT YOUR PEAK POWER. ANOTHER THING WHEN THE LAST TIME YOU RINGED THIS SLED. JUST BECAUSE YOUR COMPRESSION UP DOSE NOT MEAN YOUR GETTING BLOW BY. 3:16 (yammie tony)

1.)if it was the power valaves not working it would not rev over 8000 rpm!
2.)if its a ported engine it will need to run 8500rpm, not 8300rpm of a stocker
I am just going to say get the wiring harness fixed and then you need to explain exactly whats happening here, short 1 word answers are not giving out any information usefull to troubleshoot the problem, its just a bunch of guessing. Fix the electrical problem then rerun the sled, pay paticular attention to the tach as if the sled is nosong over as you say It would almost be impossible for the tach not to change rpm, that is unless its slipping the belt so bad, then you would smell it, but even that would change the rpm some! need better descriptions.

yammiegod just recomended trying lower rpms too see if reving too high.
Normally runs 8500
baybe wiring is messing with the tach. ill check it tomorrow.

WON,T HURT ANYTHING PULLING RPM DOWN TO SEE IF THAT HELP IT. SEE THAT ALOT OF TIMES SLEDS OVER RPM. LOOK DON,s DEAD RIGHT HERE, THROWING OUT WILD GUESSES IS TUFF. EVERYTHING YOU EXPLAINED THIS SLED SHOULD BE RIGHT ON EXCEPT YOUR GAUAGE ACTING UP. 3:16 (yammie tony)
