I hit a rock and bent the arm and lower rod. I replaced everything. Now the ski is not sitting flat. I know that you can move the rod in and out. Is that for ajustiing the ski so that it is flat?

you may have a bent spindle. if the tube on the trailing arm looks straight up and down but the ski doesnt sit flat, the spindle is bent.

Yes you would adjust that to get the ski flat. But like Scott is telling you, make sure the spindle isn't bent. Maxdlx

The adjustment is for the changing the angle looking down on the trailing arm. I thought you where telling us the ski was not flat looking at if from the side. In otherwords the adjustment is to get the keel of the ski algined with the snow.

When I put the bottom rod on I didn't adjust it. I messed with the adjustment today and got the ski to sit flat on the snow. It wasn't really out that bad. Thanks everyone for your help.
