SRX Power Valve clean?

I just got an SRX 2001 and was wandering if I should attempt to clean the power valves myself. Anyone have instructions on how to do this?


I am new to these power valves and want to know what Pull through means?

It's a simple job that can be done in no time at all. Should get yourself a manual first to make sure you put them back in properly. I use Red Stallion combustion chamber cleaner, spray them,let sit for short time and remove carbon deposits,clean them but do not use anything sharp as you may gouge them, you may have top spray them again if they are bad. You will have to remove the pipes as well to get at the third valve unless someone knows a trick to doing that .

IN THE TECH SECTION on this site there is info on the how to.I have posted pictures of my p.v. and i think the thread is on pg 2 now .It shows one pv that has had the cable PULL THROUGH and one that hasn't. It's not a difficult job ,but like anything ,be patient and take your time .
