what should I do first for more power

I wanted to know what should I do if I want to up to overall performance of my sled. Basically I want to know where should I start. with reeds, a boost bottle, pipes, ect. I have a 1997 700 SX. Also i wanted to know if for the money a M 10 will drastically improve the ride.
I would like to spend around $400. the only thing that I have done so far is a Kimpex Agressor track with 1" lugs. The track is not studed so I was wondering if that is a good place to start if so what whould be a good number of studs to install with out bring to agressive, just for good all around trail riding.

I'd bore out the silencer, put in some reed spacers, clutch it with the tunning on TY page and that sucker will screem

I have the same sled.. stock silencer bore works good, noticible power, bitchin music, and to top it all off its free and takes about twenty minutes. Good luck

really the combo of the reed notch, silencer bore and the thin head gasket along with the clutching it will feel like you gain 20 hp....but you didnt...damn close tho....
