Shift out question

1998 v-max xtx 600. Maximum Performance Helix, cant remember the angle. engagement is 4200 rpm. Around 6,000 rpms I can feel a noticeable up shift or power increase. The sled feels like it shifts into gear and takes off. I believe it has something to do with the secondary and the wrap. Anyone have an idea what will correct this.

Thats probably normal for the helix you have. You can try giving the secondary more twist, but that may only raise the shift rpm if thats what your after.
