My sled has almost 10000 klm on it, seems to be getting a bit tired. What can i do to regain performance? its a 600 twin

rings, maybe pistons, good clutch anb carb clean, change both clutch springs.

rings are the big item,but mic out your pistons for under spec wear...use
only OEM parts....she'll run like new when done..

My XTC has 130 on bolth,,but anything 120ish is good,and as long as there
within 10% of each other..

90-95mph here, haven't ever hit 100, but then I do have a 1.25" track, and never really tried dialing it in for speed.MICHAELSF150 said:what kind of speed are you guys seeing from your stock 600 twins ?

The only time i can hit 95-100 mph is on bare ice or really hard pack. It seems a bit of snow slows my sled down alot, only hit about 75-80 mph. Is this normal? The only mods i have are reed spacers, 96 studs, and 1" lug track.

I can see a 100 on a long pull with the dream meter, but i have the stock
.75 track on it,skid/clutch(7,800) dialed in good,hooks good on hard pack,
she rips for a small cc twin..i love the sled!!!!!!

I got the video to play after. Very helpfull. Time to start adjusting for more transfer. Thanks for the help
