have an 83ish 300 enticer. has a flat spot(bog) right off of idle. could be clutching. once it revs a bit takes off and goes good. its not dirty carbs. unfamiliar with the clutches on this sled. since the kids are riding this, need to make it a little snappier. all opinions are welcome.

sounds like primary spring or the bushing is toast.
just take the cover off of the clutch (6 bolts) with the machine tipped up on its right side. inspect the rollers and weights for flat spots. with the spring removed, slide the cover back on and make shure it slides freely. it and the sheve should slide just using gravity with the sled on r/s. try and rock the cover as well to inspect for bushing wear. if you find any thing wrong replace it.
i would go with a new primary spring as they are only around $10.00. a total rebuild of the weight pins and rollers should come in for under $150.00. remeber i am canadian so prices might seem high compared to what you are used to.

check the slider plastic pucks in the secondary as well but i think the primary is the problem myself.

runs to good to be a carb issue, my opinion. no load,no bog. maim, that secondary looks kinda greek to me, but i am sure i can figure it out. thanks for all the input guys.
