sxr500 dropping to 1 cylinder?

I thought I had it but it's still doing it. It runs fine from low to mid range then if you nail it it looses the mag side cylinder. It does'nt foul the plug there's just to much fuel being dumped in. I cleaned the carbs put a new coil on new plug caps checked the reeds. could it be a sticking needle and seat? any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you cleaned the carbs it should not be the needle unless it was not cleaned properly.
DO you have good spark to that cylinder.

I've got great spark to that side. I've tried it with the tors hooked up and unhooked. I was referring to the needle in the float bowl is it possible it's not sealing? thanks for the help guys

how's float hight(did you check)??? try adjusting to lean side of spec...

well I think I found the problem. the screen on top of the needle and seat was totally covered in gunk. seems to be running good now. thanks eveyone
