Will they Fit?

^^^^^^Don't worry I will still let you know first

I'm not using them. Someone else was interested in my sled and wanted to know if they would work, thanks

No, viper17, the only thing that will bolt in and replace it 100% the same is another viper engine, a srx engine can be fitted but youll be into alot of work making the exhaust work, water rail is differnt, but the overall lower ends are the same as far as bolting in.(cranks are differnt but will interchange)

it would be alot less hassle and work to just use viper parts from 02-04, the 04 had the dcs on the had bit it will still work in a non dcs sled just leave the sensor in head to block the opening.

^^^^^^^so an srx crank will work in my viper. I was also wondering if the cylinders are different on the viper, for example could I put a cylinder from the middle cylinder on the right cylinder.

Viper cylinders are also diff. compared to a SRX, Viper's exhaust outlet is flat with the cylinder compared to a SRX's exhaust outlet extends outward from the cylinder. Viper porting is also more aggressive compared to a SRX. Stick with Viper top end parts cause they are not interchangeable without doing fab work, lower end is a toss up on what you find and what you want wanna use.

Viper cylinders are all interchangable from PTO,MID,MAG.

^^^^^^thanks that helps. I am sticking with a viper topend for sure, but I was also wondering if I would be able to use a SRX crank in my Viper case. Would there be any advantages to using a SRX crank?
