Hello....I am trying to help my friend out. He has a 94 v-max 600, with aftermarket twin pipes. We cannot find a name on the pipes. He is getting horrible gas miliage and I recommended that we check his jetting to see if its jetted correctly, since he bought it used.
Does anyone have any idea how I could get the right specs.
Thanks

Ahh the terrible twin pipe mileage issue arises once again....
If they are the GYT twins I'll link you to all the info your friend will need.

here is a picture of the pipes...........
i took a look at his sled tonite and found a few things wrong...
bad drive belt, plus it was on backwords
2 bearings are completly bad in the suspension (actually the idler wheels are off of the bearings) (has sparks when he drove off from his suspension)
plugs looked a little rich, but actually not to bad
his needle clip was in the 2nd position from the top, so I think that is good also.
i think if he put new bearings in the suspension, and a new drive belt on, he will see a dramitic improvement.
thanks for any help or info on the pipes!

Can't tell if thats one can or two on the pipes, looks similar to my gyt's Is that hood wire attached to the pipe if so you wil wat to move that and attach to the edinge mount shown in the picture.
Look at the w-arm bushings as well as the others in the skid if you catch them early it will save you a bunch on shafts and such.

i am pretty sure they are psi, found a picture on another website...hopefully psi will still have the jetting specs.
The psi pipes i had for my 600 were end dumps, these are center dumps. Unless they changed em later on ........ But they were the only kind they sold back then, If they are psi"s just bolt on and go ..no jetting change required!
The specs DG gives for for a 500 is not even close.. I just had a very bad run around with these pipes especially trying to put on a yammi twin.
