sx 700 triple vs mxz 800

hi, my buddy has a mxz 800 and he said the he would smoke my 700 red head. We didn't get a chance to race yet but what do you guys think? I have a dyno port slip on and he has a dyno port full single pipe other than that we're pretty much stock.
 
I think he would smoke you. My advice is that you race him for a long distance and pray for his piston rings to melt down or the crank bearings or seals to collapse. :mrgreen:
 
Dont race him in snow. The 800 bone stock will top out at about 107mph. A really well tunes single piped 700 tripple can also get close to 107mph. I raced a few 800 and I dont find they are a problem....but I am piped and running strong on mid and top end.
