Did you clean the carbs. Sounds like much dirt broke loose.
make sure air box is on tight. clamps are not loose.

I have an 03 rx1 this happened to me.
After pulling the plugs and cranking install dry plugs and tap the float bowls you most likely have a float hung up or possibly two ,a lite tap will jar it loose. If the float is stuck down it will not shut the flow of fuel off as it rises in the blow so it floads and continues to fload until you get it loose. When you tip it on its side you drained the bowl further than it normally get drained when keeping the black side of the sled down.

Back in the old days when I was a mechanic we used to pull off the fuel line and run the engine until it died. This would empty the fuel bowl and usually the crap inside of them.If you had oil in the cylinders new plugs would clear it up in a hurry. What color where the plugs after the 10k run?

see, you were headed in that direction, but you did not actually type it
I have gotten used to explaining things a couple ways to people, since while I think that way, not everybody else does....
I think Glinfam is on the right path. Stein is correct in that if there was only oil in the cylinders, new plugs would have fixed it really quickly. It has to be something else, and sticking floats would def cause this..
