i have a 97 700 SX and the stator was bad i know it was bad i had it checked so i got a used one off a 600 triple when i put it on it sounded like it was running fine the once you get going it sounds like you running on 2 cylinders and there new plugs and the tach is screwed up it will be at 0 one sec then 4000 the next and it just jumps around everywhere I've been out of a sled for three weeks now and hate it can someone help me please?

Did you check the wiring harness for "rub thru's" and the engine?
