what are good shocks to put on a v max 700

I just put new 03 RX1 rear shocks on my 98 Sx700 and long traveled it and am very happy. I started it with the low setting then turned it up two clicks and cranked it all the way and it is now too stiff. Before next ride I am turning it down about half way. But I am 6.2 350 also

ya i'm 6.2 but only about 170 pounds and my back is killing me from ridding all weekend. i think i might get a skid from a polaris or a ski doo for the rear.

i swapped an edge skid into my 99 sx and absolutley love it. not only does it ride alot nicer, traction is also improved. you will need to upgrade your front shocks (viper/sxr) as well if you do.

Or you can just get the adjustable brackets to drop down the front shocks a bit to raise the front end. Putting on viper/sxr shocks will give you more travel though.
