I was wondering if someone can tell me the correct plug for a 1994 Yamaha VMAX? I am new to snowmobiling and my dad bought a used VMAX. The plug that in it is a BP9ES. They keep fouling out (oil fouled). I wanted to make sure we have the correct plug prior to jetting. Thanks!

BR9ES..gap is 0.7 to 0.8mm or (0.028 to 0.032 in)

We are in the process of getting a manual for this machine, but can you tell me where and how to adjust this oil pump? It looks like we have the correct plug (I was reading it incorrectly, it is actually a BR9ES that we have) thanks for the info.

If carburetion, jetting and oil setting is correct you should not be fouling plugs..use BR9ES plugs.....
HAYSHAKER to do it righ you need to do these cable free play settings ok.
Do these checks in this order;
1st- set idle to 15- 1,650 rpm's(@ operating temp)
2nd- set throttle end play to 2mm(adjustment for that is down at the carb rack)
3rd- set oil pump cable free play here and here to 27(richer)to 29(leaner)mm
