Gearing question for SRX

stock 98 700 23-37=113.48 70 link stock 2002 700 23-38=110.49 70 link as well.If you could get a 24 top you would have to use polaris gears i believe as yami dont use it you could get 118 with 24-37or 115 with 24-38
 
is that a yes daman....lol. Bluewho..so you ar telling me here that a stock 02 SRX with stock gears can get only 110.49 mph.Well I am close then,was at 105 a few weeks back.I will now spend another $1000 just to get it 5 mph faster..no da. NOPE!!! $200 maybe...lol.Would love to see 118.Have you tried these yourself or was it just read off some post?
 
I was useing the calculator valin has linked in his sled posts.I am not shure about the overdrive but useing a 98 700 37 gear it would be a cheap gear that you could get used.Maybie you have over jetted the mains for the little light on the dash.Have you checked wash on top end?Does it sound crisp when you let off and get back on it or not.It should almost howl when in the top rpms .Tell me how many miles do you even have on that new track?Boy i need a drink!1!!munster

Saw an srx rippin it up while waiting for the little arty to catch up .
Talk about speed this little Arty 370 was hittin 40+ lol
 
Jetting seems fine.Yes she howls nicely at top rpm's.Track has maybe only 400 to 500 miles on it.Motor definitely has a nice snap to it,which I love about the 700.
daman,you all worried about me now,I won't die just yet.But when I hit 120 and the clutch explodes on me,now that will be the end of me and the SRX I guess.YOU can have any parts of the sled that didn't get destroyed...ok.
DIE....have I ever died on any other sleds thus far...no.So why would I die on this one.Oh ,last weekend was wot coming around a corner on the river and almost nailed a BRP product coming the other direction,or more like almost had aheadon with the guy behind him wandering to my left.Lucky I hung on around the corner and hugged it tight.There was no room to wander off that corner at the speed I was going.Kinda scared me for a second,but kept sled to the right of them.Of course the first guy put his arm up to his buddy to signal him.Good thing he didn't stray over to me.Damn Artic Cats are always in my way.
 
for a GOD you are funny.It would cost me money to send them to you so you can just throw them out.Now I betcha you want them for your 02 SRX.You pay the shipping and they are yours.The HC's are free,the shipping is $250.I am going to go back to my 8DN setup by the weeks end.Couls I use them with the same 50/38 helix just to see what happens,or should I change helix's back to stock or 51/43 which I have on my other sled.Maybe if I lpug the EGT hole in my middle exhaust pipe,I will gain 10 more HP.

Stein,where you riding on a red SXViper with a bunch of other sleds.North of the bridge,a SXViper was doing a hill climb.I just decided to do a few speed runs.If that was you,why didn't you stop and say hi to another Yamaha rider.But maybe it wasn't you.You guys enjoyed the SRX did ya.

Was with a black mtn rx1 ,a blue rx1 ,a 370 cat and an all black 500sx
Do you have a black headlight cover?
 
I also wear a Blue/white Helmet and Blue/white jacket.I exited yp the river bank next to the bridge going west.If I knew it was you,I would of stopped.Actually I did stop for a bit and saw this SXViper go in front of me,I looked at the Viper but the rider didn't respond to me,so I just booted it out down the river and back.
 
I have a red SX Viper and all black suit and helmet.
Might be goin for a ride on Friday during the day. Welcomed to join if you like.
No details as of yet .I just need to be back before supper.

Should be a nice day on Friday for riding.My windy is Blue.I am all about Blue.Also have my trailing arms painted Blue.Also painted my hood screens Siler/Chrome.I'll have to go and stock up on gas then.
