Upgrade ? on my 02 Viper...

was looking to add a little to my viper this year, 136 kit and 1.25 ripsaw are in mind.... have already added maxx perf roller secondary and silencer... any other performance mods without going to triple pipes? suggestions.....

Here is a clutch setup by Turk from the tech page...Im sure it rips.

50/40 Helix, Red Heelclicker ,4.2g in heel, 1st hole empty, 4.5 G in the tip with Green Secondary Spring. Also can run a 48 or 46 initial angle & 2.4g in 2st hole and a little less in the tip.

Did you install a torque limiter yet?

Does the torque limiter make a big difference? How is it to install?

I found that it made a noticable difference, the sled seemed to pull harder. It's not too bad to install, you need to remove both clutches and undo the carbs. After it is installed you need to reset your clutches (alignment) to SRX specs. I installed the Yamaha (SRX) torque limiter, it's probably harder to install than the adjustable type.

i bought one last year

purchased maxx performance torque limiter, never took time to put it in, guess it goes in now....

i noticed a difference on mine... sled felt more responsive... maybe cause the motor isn't jumping up 2 inches everytime you get on it!

This is some mods that make a difference without tuching the engine.
