Last season I put a 1.5 comoplast on my 97 vmax 600, it has a bender racing clutch kit and bender thin head gasket. I knew I would loose top end on my sled by switching to the 1.5 paddle, I am impressed with the way it hooks up. But when im riding the trials it just seems like the clutch dosent move fast enought when i want the power, i no its only a twin, and the triples have no problem with that im the only twin out of my yami group i ride with 2 sx700's and a srx. I keep up on the lake i usually get the hole shot, but i only top out at 85 it gets to 80 fine 85 its gotta be pinned for a wile. Anyone have any sugestions?

our ventrue 6oo twin does the same 80-85 for top speed, and that is with a .92" track.

IIRC, the ventures and MM are geared down compared to the short tracked variants.

so your not back shifting enough??

what are your rpm's pinned outa the hole and top end??

whats your clutch set up spec's?? both..

I don't think your Secondary Wrap is going to affect your Top speed much. What are your RPM's at WOT? Are you at 7800, or are you overreving?

Did you have to put on 8 tooth Drivers for that 1.5" track? If you did, did you regear?

I think you would probably need to play with gearing more here for better Topend, might take longer to get there, but you will get more top end, but then your holeshot might suffer.
