I have no spark on all three cylinders and am looking for some advice on what to check first...i will run down the story of how this happened here, maybe it will be a clue for someone....?

---------------
Last week I added weight to the tips of my clutch and took the sled for a quick test ride. on the 2 min. ride i noticed the error light was flashing (no idea of code since I only noticed the end of the pulse codes)....didnt think anything of it...the sled was not 100% warm, it was a short spin, etc....BUT this has never happened to me before.

Last weekend I was planning a long ride so I started it up in the garage (~-15C)...it took 10 pulls to start (it has ALWAYS taken 6 pulls exactly to start so I thought this was weird), warmed it up, rode around the yard and did a couple 80km/hr runs for fun.
Stopped the sled and shut it off. Came out after getting everything together about 45 mins later (-30C out) and pulled but no spark!...and still no spark a week later after letting it sit!?!?

I tested the kill switch continuity, the tps connector continuity, and throttle switch continuity, and continuity through one of the coils (no spark on all three).
I recently pulled and wrapped the harness under the engine with black tape (no chafing observed then at all).
I grabbed that wire and shook held it firm to prevent shorting while a friend pulled to see if that helped...nothing.

-------------------
So....

Im going out to the garage tomorrow and the first thing im going to test is the stator resistance.....following that, does anyone have any other common places i should look?
How can I check CDI box if I have no spare?

Help?

Thanks in advance!

i know 98-99 got alots of stator problem.. pull the flywheel out and check if the stator look burn ...

Yup, it was the stator.
It failed the resistance test on on of the two coils.
I put a new one in and she fired right up!

It seems to have WAY more spark and the handwarmers seem hotter too...but this could just be in my head...dunno.

Thanks!
