i am having a hard time adjusting my power valves....i have idle my motor down to under 900 rpm and shut the engine off and started adjusting them. first 2 from PTO side was good but the mag side powevalve cable is not working right! cable adjusters are backed off all the way at the servo and cant get any room to adjust them. there should be alot of slack left to adjust the powervalve! checked the pv and they move freely! anyone knowwhats going on?

thanks

cleaned them 2 weeks back but the powervalves look clean and i am going to check the inside of the powervalve housing tomorrow if there is anything in there preventing it from giving me more cable!

Some vipers will have very very little room,i've done a few now where the
adjuster is almost all the way in,and bary had enough room for the 2.5 AW..

check pully wrap and cable position/lengh,maybe somone put wrong cable on but i'dought it,,

hey daman, what is the order for the cables on the servo motor? PTO side Powervalve cable on the first (top) adjuster on the servo and them middle on middle and mag side on the bottom adjuster? is this right or the other way around?

my cables were wrong then...the guy who had it must of put them in the wrong ones! my PTO side was at the top at the servo, middle was in the middle and mag side was at the bottom! would this be the problem?

hey

looked at the housing for pv on mag side today and nothing it there stoping it from giving me more cable. also, sled as idling at around 500 rm when i sut the engine off and the mag side pv cable adjuster was already screwed all the way in at the servo! and that was done before the engine was starter! anyone know what i have to do? i can fit a 2.5 mm allen wrench between the housing. the mag side pv cable is slacked off as far as it can go and i cant fit the allen wrench inside!

So you have no room at all,it's cranked in tight??

the mag side cable is the longest of the three,,is it????

hey

it was working good yesterday but im gon na see what i can do to get it workin again! is it ok it i shut the engine off when its at 500 rpm? would the servo be set then?

also....if i had all 3 adjusters right in when i set the servo would this be the problem where i aint gettin much cable?
no because you crank 'em in anyway, plus the sevo pully stops at a certain point anyway even if cables were off pully..

is your mag cable the longest of the three?????

yes the mag side cable is the longest of all 3! im gonna try and shakin it with a wrech and i will let you know if i have any problems!

my cables were crossed over at the servo. there was 2 cables n the same groove and then i put them in the right slots then i got more cable left and now shes perfect!

Thanks!
