starting to do ALOT of trail riding with groups and really could use mirrors. so i got a set of the factory mirrors for my 2001 srx 700. not sure exactly where the factory put them. any help>>?

If you open your hood, there are 2 dimples on either side molded right in to the hood. They are on the vertical section towards the rear, just below the windshield. Size the stud on the mirror and drill right through those dimples. Pretty easy install. You will probably go right through a decal. Had that on my XTC's. I have them on my viper, 2 XTC's and my Venture. Can't ride without them now! Hope this helped!
