Just thought I would ask if anyone has had issues with lighting on a 98 srx 600. The headlight blew out then the tail light and the oil light is flashing sometimes. I saw that there are 3 regulator type boxes above the CDI, could one of these be bad????

sounds like you may have a bad voltage regulator
x2 on the regulator.
dad has a skandic 503 that would blow it every 2nd or 3rd ride. was getting expensive on bulbs.

just had that problem on my eexciter its voltage regulator put a new one in and its fixed Al Larson

I will have to do some checking on which one to try to replace first. There are three of them above the CDI unit. I know the far right one is not for lighting and the middle one is but I don't know what the left one does????
