is there any real advantages to running a aftermarket lightweight tunnel such as one from mountain performance or elkholm with a dropped and rolled chaincase or should a person just stay with stock yamaha?
If you have the funds to do that, it is a hugh advantage. The design of the mt. viper tunnel is poor and not relative to deep powder riding. The viper has an inheritant trenching problem and most of it is related to the tunnel design and suspension set-up.
