Good lord, I would go back in there and beat the guy who said they were the same with the book, then go directly to Yamaha with a nice letter informing them off the dumba$$ that works there and maybe you can get something free out of it, but if you do I want 20%...

I cant believe the dealer wont make it right for you. This why I think dealers are a bunch of deucht bags. Never want to give free info. WOnt sell used parts. Wont do anything unless it makes them money. I own a retail store and know first hand if you treat a customer badly its not just them you lose but all of their friends as well. Even if I dont want to go the extra mile to help someone if its not making me cash I still grit my teeth and help them with a smile. Once youve shown you care a little they will come back to you forever. ---untill you do something like this turd dealer did. all over what 40.00 bucks and it probably cost him like 20.00 bucks. They just thought you were and idiot and that they could pull a quicky on them. Good for you and give up their name unless your not telling us the whole story.

While the customer is right a lot of the time, in the end they are still just the customer.
In this situation however, the customer is 100% correct.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Good dealers are hard to find, so when (if you're lucky enough) you find one, stick with them. I still order my parts from IMO the best dealer in Western Canada. Maximum Powersports in Peace River, Alberta. He can get me things faster and a better price even after paying shipping costs than my local dealer.
